Project Title: Reducing number of newly registered clients who miss CD4 screening at St. Francis Health Care Services, Njeru, Mukono district.

Project description:

Periodic CQI meetings were proposed to assess performance of organisational goals and help in improving outputs by staff members in serving clients and build team work.
Faustine and Jonathan worked on a project which led to the reduction of the number of new registered clients who miss CD4 screening from 49% to 5% in four month. The project also led to increase in the number of clients accessing palliative care services from 9% to 27.5%. The improvement was brought about by improving on the management of client records, staff meetings to ascertain to ascertain the root causes of the work flow gaps and selecting theme areas which helped to motivate the staff to own the project.
