Ms Sharon Ajedra

About the Fellow:  Sharon holds a MPH, and BSc. She was attached to International Rescue Committee (IRC) and worked in Bundibugyo. While at IRC she was involved in providing technical support and supervision (planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation) of CRD HIV/AIDS planned activities.

About the Fellow: Vincent Bagambe holds a MPH, and a bachelor of medicine and surgery. He was attached to Uganda Peoples Defence Force. He enabled UPDF scale up and strengthen care, support and treatment activities of the UPDF AIDS Control Programme.

Dr Edrine Namayanja Kamugisha

About the Fellow: Edrine Namayanja holds a MPH and a Bachelors of Dental surgery. She was attached to Straight Talk Foundation. At Straight Talk she was the parent Communication officer and she generated parent talk newspaper messages and support materials.

Dr Solome Nampewo

About the Fellow: Solome Nampewo holds a MPH, and Bachelor of Medicine and surgery. She was attached to Kabarole district directorate of health services. She participated in coordination and supervision of HIV/AIDS activities in Kabarole district including formulation of strategies to follow up clients on ART.

Dr Nkoyooyo Abdallah

About the Fellow: He holds a MPH, and a Bachelor of medicine and surgery. He was attached to The AIDS Support Organisation (TASO). He participated in strengthening TASO’s monitoring and evaluation systems, and he documented its implementation and expansion strategy.

Dr Innocent Bright Nuwagira

About the Fellow: Innocent Bright Nuwagira holds a MPH, MA (Demo), and bachelors of medicine and surgery. He was attached to Uganda AIDS Commission. Innocent developed and pilot tested a management Information system (MIS) for monitoring and evaluation of HIV/AIDS activities in Uganda.

Mrs Julianne Etima-Ongom

About the Fellow: Juliana Etima-Ongom holds a Masters in Counseling Psychology and BSc. (Psychology & Zoology). She was attached to Makerere University – Johns Hopkins University Research Collaboration (MU-JHU).  She spearheaded the formation of the social support division, strengthened child counseling, enhanced the peer education, support and community outreach program.

Mrs Esther Nabukeera Sempiira

About the Fellow: Esther Sempira holds a MA (Demography) and a B. Stat. She was attached to Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development.  She coordinated and strengthened the Ministry of Gender Labour and Social development OVC monitoring and evaluation system.

Mr Elly Ssebyatika

About the Fellow: Elly Ssebyatika holds a PGD (Stat) and a B. Stat. He was attached to St. Francis Hospital Nsambya. Elly established a management Information System (MIS) for all HIV/AIDS programs in St. Francis Hospital.

Dr Stella Alamo - Talisuna

About the Fellow: Stella holds a Master of Disease Control and a Bachelor of Medicine and surgery. She was attached to Reach out Mbuya. While on fellowship she set up ARV program and ensured that the quality of the program was good through client medical care. She also designed a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation system and training of health care workers.
